Recipes For Baby - Stage 2 Baby Food

When your baby is 7-8 months old, he can eat Stage 2 baby foods, which include single ingredient and combination of more ingredients baby solid foods that could be strained, instead or being pureed. You can start introducing variety of fish and chicken as an infant baby food. It helps your child to get familiar with new textures and tastes.

Prunes & Peers Puree
This recipe could help in prevention of constipation in babies and toddlers.

Organic Sweet Potato Puree
Ingredients :
6-7 pitted prunes
400ml of water

Directions :
1. Boil prunes for 15 minutes and strain. Keep the cooking liquid in the pan.
2. Place prunes and peer in blender with about 50 ml of the cooking water and puree until smooth. Add more cooking liquid if necessary for smoother consistency.
*Place baby food to refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.

Organic Sweet Potato and Broccoli Puree

Organic Sweet Potato and Broccoli Puree
Ingredients :
1 mid size organic sweet potato, 4 - 5 broccoli florets, 3.5 ounces of breast milk or formula.

Directions :
1. Peel potato and cut to small pieces.
2. Steam sweet potato and broccoli until very soft.
3. Place cooked potato and broccoli in food processor, gradually add formula. Process for 30 seconds, mix and process for another 10 seconds.
*Place baby food to refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.

Organic Sweet Potato and Zucchini Puree
Ingredients :
1/4 pound (125g) Organic zucchini, 1/4 pound (125g) Organic Sweet Potato, 3.5 ounces of breast milk or formula.

Directions :
1. Peel the zucchini and potato, cut into the small pieces.
2. Steam the zucchini and sweet potato until soft.
3. Place cooked ingredients in food processor, gradually add formula. Process for 30 seconds, mix and process for another 10 seconds.
*Place baby food to refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.

Organic Broccoli and Zucchini Puree
Ingredients :
1/4 pound (125g) Organic zucchini, 1/4 pound (125g) Organic Broccoli Florets, 3.5 ounces of breast milk or formula.

Directions :
1. Peel the zucchini and cut into the small pieces.
2. Steam the zucchini and broccoli florets until soft.
3. Place cooked ingredients in food processor, gradually add formula. Process for 30 seconds, mix and process for another 10 seconds.

Ingredients :
1/2 pound (250g) organic carrots, 3.5 ounces of breast milk or formula.

Directions :
1. Peel the carrots and cut to large pieces.
2. Steam the carrots until very soft.
3. Place cooked carrots in food processor, gradually add formula. Process for 30 seconds, mix and process for another 10 seconds.
*Optional: you could use water left over from steaming instead of milk or formula.
*Place baby food to refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.

Ingredients :
1/2 pound (250g) organic butternut squash, 3.5 ounces of breast milk or formula.

Directions :
1. Steam butternut squash until soft.
2. Place cooked butternut squash and formula in food processor. Process for 30 seconds, mix and process for another 10 seconds.
*Optional: you could use water left over from steaming instead of milk or formula.
*Place baby food to refrigerator in airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.
